RECAP Cluster: Wood2Wood joins new cluster of Horizon Europe projects for long-term collaboration

Five Horizon Europe projects, including Wood2Wood, have formed a cluster called RECAP to establish long-term collaboration and facilitate knowledge exchange through collective participation at events, such as conferences, webinars and technical workshops.

RECAP is short form for “Rethinking End-of-life through Circularity and Advanced Processes”. The five Horizon Europe projects involved are CompSTLarBIO4EEBiBot4CRMsICARUS and Wood2Wood.

To kick start the clustering activities, RECAP has organised a hybrid workshop as an official EU Green Week partner event on June 3 in Brussels.

This will be a hybrid workshop titled “Closing the Loop: Advancing EU Competitiveness and Sustainability through AI, Robotics, and Digital Twins in the Manufacturing Sector“.

The workshop will aim to exchange knowledge between the projects on the practical application of AI, Robotics and Digital Twins for circular innovation and digital transformation across several key industrial sectors, including aerospace composites, industrial waste, critical raw materials (CRMs), and wood waste (Construction and Demolition).
